Go Cougers !!!! Conquer Cancer !!!

Gruelling – defined as:

“backbreaking !”…yikes !!!  Perfect way to describe it…

Anyways, I just wanted to post a quick note on our dear friend Holly is going to be participating in a gruelling 60km walk through the streets of Ottawa for the 2010 Shoppers Drug Mart Weekend to End Women’s Cancers.

It’s about 4 months away and Holly has started her fundraising campaign. A few weeks ago, Jeanette and I donated $1000 to help the cause and she’s almost raised 50% of her target goal.  I want everyone reading this to keep it going.  I know she’ll hit her target and once she does, spread the love.  Her very good friend Andrea is also on her team — Cougars Conquering Cancer !!!

I wish I was able to go to cheer them on, but I have a beautiful wedding to photograph that weekend and it’s also Jeanette’s birthday.  But we’ll definitely be thinking of her, her mom, and the rest of the team.  It’s going to be an awesome weekend had by all !
