I can’t believe the last time I saw Janet and Tony was in 2007 when they booked me ! It’s been sooo long, but when we saw each other, it just felt like it was yesterday. They look exactly the same ! LOL Just an adorable couple. I, on the other hand, think that I’ve aged a bit. 2 kids now and a booming business is really taking a toll on the body !
Janet and I have been in touch quite a bit over the last few years. I still remember one of the first emails to me after they booked me. She was hooked on my blog
She’s been one of the my biggest fans. I love receiving random emails from her just to say HI and commenting on my kids and my life in general. She’s on top of all my posts Most of my future brides are on top of my blog nowadays. There’s just a wealth of information on there in terms of vendors I’ve worked with. And also ideas on design/decor, flowers…lots of good stuff !
We didn’t have much time to work with during our session, but we did get some goodies. Janet was all over Toronto getting her hair done at one place and then her make-up at another place. And then they had to meet me back in Mississauga for their session. Needless to say, rush hour got the best of them and they were running late. They were soooo easy to photograph, so it wasn’t a big deal. Well, Janet was at least. Tony had a little trouble keeping his eyes on me :p But by the end of the session, we fixed him up real good

I had a blast with these two. We finished just before it started raining, so the timing (and lighting) was fantastic. I had to rush off back to Markham for an appointment, which I was soooo late for, but it’s all good. Janet and Tony were worth the extra time.
I can’t wait to see these two very soon !!! Their long awaited wedding is in early August and it’s definitely going to be a memorable one.

Make-up was done by Vanessa, who’s wedding I’ll be photographing in Jamaica in a few weeks !!! Yikes, I better get packing now ! Hair was done by another friend and colleague of mine, Justin. It’s awesome that I’ll be working with them for Janet and Tony’s wedding. I love these two ! If you want their contact info, let me know !
