I’m going to keep this short and sweet because Pam and Dal are going to have a mega post next year.
Pam’s one of my closest friends. We’re so close that she is getting married exactly 6 years after Jeanette and I did hehe I would comfortably say that she’s my best friend of the female species, right after Jeanette of course. There’s a lot of history between us and I will unleash some stories when I blog their wedding next year. It will be the mother of all posts.
In the interim, I’ll share some images Kevin and I (mostly Kevin) captured from their engagement party a few months back.
I had my trusting friend and colleague, Kevin Fung, cover this one in my absence, as I was photographing my Big Give 2009 wedding for Holly and Matt. He did an awesome job, as always. I did manage to stop by briefly to say hi to everyone a few hours after Holly and Matt’s wedding was finished. I headed straight to Mississauga from Niagara-on-the-Lake to join the party.
I was in touch with Kevin throughout the night via text to see how things were going. I could tell he was having a blast. He kept telling me that people were coming up to him to comment on how cute his kids are ! Too funny.

This photo really brought back memories for me. I just arrived and met up with Kevin inside the venue. This is when Pam jumped on the mic and said, “Everyone at the bar, get your asses on the dance floor….JW Photography’s in the house !” LOL I love her !
It was an amazing party ! I’m guessing there was about 1000 guests from all over the world, including Dal’s family, who flew in from England a few days earlier.
So the countdown begins, less than 7 months to go before I have my first alcoholic drink at a wedding. For those who know me, this is a big deal ! I didn’t even drink at my own wedding. But I will definitely be celebrating with all our friends at Pam and Dal’s wedding.
