Tonight, my team was covering the official grand opening of the Markham Event Centre, the largest and newest event centre in Markham and the sixth establishment of the Ambassador Group.
As some of you might remember, I photographed the first event at the brand new venue last February. There were about 1500 guests tonight, which included a guest list that had the who’s who of Markham. There were also city counselors from the neighboring cities to help celebrate this special occasion. It was truly a great celebration and we can’t forget about the food !!! There were over 8 specialty stations of various foods. They cater all types of foods, from Chinese to western to Indian. You name it, they can cook it. The schedule was packed with entertainment…they had lion and dragon dancing, 18-piece jazz band, and much more !
I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to host their wedding or party. I firmly believe this is a 5-star establishment and will make a lot of noise in the future as business starts to ramp up !
