What a night it was on Tuesday. It’s been a few days since I came home from documenting the amazing birth of Baby Kara. Congratulations to K+R on their first child and inviting me to capture this monumental occasion !
She weighed in just under 7 lbs and mom and dad are doing fine. It was the most calm birth I have ever witnessed…dad’s hand was not broken, there was no cussing…it was very intense.I still can’t believe how amazing this whole process is of a woman giving birth.
It was a very emotionally charged event for everyone in the room including me. I think it’s because I am a father and I have gone through the same stages of the labor and delivery with Jeanette. And in a few months, I will be going through this again with the birth of my second child.
I’ve documented births in the past but only on an exception basis and have been getting quite a number of inquiries recently, so I am officially offering Birth Photography for 5 special births every year due to a very busy wedding schedule.
