Congratulations to Joanna and Kevin, who (finally) tied the knot yesterday ! The ceremony and reception was held at the beautiful Miller Lash House.
I met Joanna and Kevin just over a year ago as they were a referral from one of my former grooms, and now good friend, John. John’s son, Connor, and Ethan are BFFs
They are so cute when they play together. Anyways, John was proudly displaying his wedding photos on his work computer via screen saver and Kevin happened to walk by and that’s when my name came up. A few months ago, I was having dinner with one of my former brides, Shelly, and she mentioned to me that I’m photographing one of her friends weddings this year. Then she told me that her and Joanna were roommates at Wilfred Laurier University ! Then I was talking to Kevin last week and he told me that he knew Sharon and Harpreet too because they were in the same business program at WLU ! Could the world be any smaller !
The weather was a little unpredictable yesterday, but with a little luck on our side, we had a beautiful (and dry) day for their beautiful wedding.

Some fun and relaxed photos with the gang:

I didn’t know what they were doing but when I turned around, I see Julia and Allison hanging off the tree…

These ones are for the boys…I know you’d like these HAHA !!!

End of the night…1AM and we still look damn good !

The flowers and floral arrangements were provided by my new friend Tamara from Fuscia Designs. I’m a details freak, so I love seeing nice decor and flowers. She did an absolutely amazing job this weekend and I HIGHLY recommend her ! She has an amazing vision and is a very talented designer. Here is some of her work:

Thank you again to Joanna and Kevin for inviting me and my team to document one of the most important days of your lives. I can’t say enough awesome things about you two ! How I wish I could have met you guys a long time ago, but I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of each other in the future. You are both destined for great things and I’m honored our paths cross! You two have accomplished so much in your lives at such an early age, as I found out from all those speeches
, and I wish you nothing but the best as you fall more in love with each other and make this world a better place!
Enjoy your honeymoon in Hawaii !
Your friend,
-Joee
