A few weeks ago, Kevin and I took a drive out to Cambridge to photograph Caitlin and Scott’s intimate wedding.
Scott and I go way back. We both attended The University of Western Ontario where we were floor mates at our dorm. I haven’t met anyone that knew how to party as hard as this guy ! Almost every weekend, I looked forward to hearing about Scotty’s Saturday weekend adventures. I know Scott’s parents will most likely be reading this entry, so for the record, Scott did study in University
Where and when, I’m not sure, but I knew he had books with him (sometimes) haha.
I met Caitlin a few years ago at the wedding of our roommate, Ryan. When I first met her, I was thinking, “Wow, she’s got some damn good genes !”
She’s gorgeous and just adorable ! She’s super outgoing and so fun to be around. I’ve gotten to know her quite well over the last year and I know she makes Scott so happy. I haven’t seen this side of him before, so I know she is definitely someone special.
So how did these two kids meet ? Apparently, there is a lot of history between their families actually. From what I remember, Scott’s grandfather sold some land to Caitlin’s grandfather near Scott’s family cottage. So their families have been friends for many years. As a result, they kept their relationship on the hush-hush…so they thought
During the speeches at the reception, their families shared stories on events/situations that happened in the past that made them wonder about these two. “…Ahhhh…it was all coming together…”, they were thinking to themselves. Once they went public, it was all smiles from both sides of the families.
Here is a peak into their fabulous wedding:

Caitlin and Scott, I can’t thank you enough for sharing your day with me and asking me to document your special union. Kevin and I had a great time meeting your amazing friends and family. They really know how to party!
I wish you nothing but joy and happiness in your lives together and I’m looking forward to a long friendship together.

….There’s one song I can’t get out of my head ! It goes something like this: Ole…Ole, Ole, Ole…Ole…Ole. You’re probably wondering, “What the…. ?” It’s kind of an inside joke. To Adam: you’re alright man…I don’t care what everyone says about you![]()
