April and Glenn‘s wedding was today ! My first of the year ! I got home not too long ago and I just had to blog their wedding tonight.
Today was absolutely perfect. Their wedding plans all came together and the day went on without a hitch. And I couldn’t have asked for a better couple…killer lighting…and an awesome party to finish off the night.
Yesterday, I called April at 3PM just to remind her that she’s getting married in 24 hours
I asked her if she was ready…she said, “No…”. As if there were not enough hours in the day. So many little things to do still, and so little time. At the time I called, she was busy making her centerpieces, which were little fish in a bowl. Such a cute idea. I just hoped that those floating candles that she had in there were not going to cook the little guys !
When I saw April this morning, she looked awesome ! Refreshed and just so ready to marry Glenn. Not bad for a girl who got up super early for such a late wedding ceremony. I spoke to Glenn this morning to get the room number of the boys and you can sense his excitement for what was to come…”Ready to have some fun !?”, he asked. “Awwww, yeah !”, I replied. I was so pumped up for today and hearing his excitement just made it all the better.
I arrived at Glenn’s parents house where April was getting ready. Such a beautiful house with lots of natural light. And it was super clean ! (note to my future brides who plan to get ready at home). We had a hell of a time getting her into her dress, but it was fun. Once she had it on, she looked radiant ! This girl obviously has fantastic taste: Maggie Sottero dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, and Joee.
Anyways, here are some teasers…

We made it to church JUST in time. Who are we kidding. The show never starts without the bride…

We headed down to the lake for some relaxed photos. The lighting was just awesome for me. We had a HUGE audience and tons of paparazzi. A little extra attention doesn’t hurt on your wedding day. After all, it is THEIR day !

I nearly killed myself trying to get up on this massive rock for this shot. Thanks to Glenn for launching me up there to get this shot![]()

The reception kicked off with their entrance song “O.P.P.” – Naughty By Nature. It was very fitting given that Glenn is going to be a Police Officer !
The First Dance.

And of course…the happy trio !

April+Glenn: Thank you again for inviting me to document your celebration and letting me into your lives on the most special day. I had a blast with everyone and hope you enjoyed our company too ! We all know married life will be amazing to you because you’re both so kind, genuine and just so right for each other. Everyone will miss you lots when you move up north in about a month![]()
