What a beautiful day it was in Toronto today. The weather was fantastic and the Big Give 2009 Team finally had our overdue get together with Holly and Matt. Believe it or not, a lot of us have never actually met so it was great that we were able to actually put some faces to the names.
Jeanette and I (and the kids) treated everyone to a wonderful lunch at the always tasty Oliver and Bonacini Cafe Grill. It was something we wanted to do for the longest time to, not only celebrate Holly and Matt’s loving relationship, but thank everyone who participated in this once in a lifetime collaboration. It was a mammoth effort put forth by everyone. The countless hours and care put in by everyone was just unbelievable. And we thank you again for sharing your amazing gifts with us all.
As you can imagine, it was quite difficult to organize about 15 providers and two out of towners for a lunch/dinner. Unfortunately, some of the providers who took part were unable to make it. But don’t worry guys…as we were devouring all the tasty food and drinks, we were thinking of you

Holly and Matt, it was awesome to see you two again. You two still look at each other with the same intensity as you did when you married each other. You are just two of the most amazing people anyone can cross paths with. Thanks for making the trip into Toronto, just for this get together. We’re looking forward to more get togethers in the future ! Maybe we can have respective girls night and guys night ? haha
