What a amazing time Eugene and I had this past Saturday at Catherine and Don‘s wedding at Miller Lash House — my favorite venue in all of Toronto ! If I had to select the best wedding I’ve ever photographed, theirs ranks right up there at the top. Beautiful weather, beautiful venue, beautiful ceremony, beautiful couple, and beautiful moments. I am so blessed to be part of their day and documenting it all.
The day was just perfect in every way. For the first time ever, I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Honestly, I try my hardest at every wedding to ensure my couples are as stress free as possible. But I didn’t have to even worry about these two. They were both calm, cool, and collected. It sort of threw me off actually because everything was so perfect ! Except one thing…which I will discuss later on in my post.
Catherine’s niece, Florence, is an absolute doll ! She’s so cute ! I love watching how Catherine interacts with her. She’s going to be a great mom and we’re all hoping it happens real soon
haha

We took Florence upstairs and told her that there is a giant doll house. The super low ceilings made me look even more of a giant ! My favorite room is the cute little bathroom up there.

This Jade ring was given to Catherine by Don’s mom. It was the ring that Don’s dad gave her when they got married. And now it’s being passed on down to the future generations.

Letting the kids be kids. They were going nuts in the dandelion fields.

…and then Eugene snaps this gorgeous photograph…WOW !

Last frames before we head up for cocktails. Of course, Don can’t be serious for more than 2 photos !

It’s almost showtime. About 3 months of professional dance lessons is about to come to life !

Their dance was simply amazing ! Just beautiful !

Brad and his team from Presidential Gourmet Catering kept all the guests really happy with the food. The food was amazing ! There were a bunch of service stations serving Beef, Chicken, Fish, Oysters+Congee. Thanks for Eugene for taking these photos. We have a 50/50 relationship, you can say. He photographs the food, I eat it ! This was the first wedding where I actually gained wait after the wedding was over !

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Ok, the only thing that wasn’t perfect that day was the fact that I got bitten so much by the mosquitoes and bugs that day. We’re not talking about bites on my arms or legs…but in places where I totally would not expect ! I’ll just leave it at that haha
I can’t stop thinking about this wedding. Catherine and Don’s friends and family were so kind to us. All the vendors were awesome to work with ! I really felt like I was attending a wedding more than anything. It was such a great time had by all.
Thank you Catherine and Don for stretching out your photography budget when we first met
You are going to love what we captured on your special day. Enjoy your mini honeymoon in the 1000 Islands.
