This is the time of year when my mailbox gets really full….full to the point that the mailman gives me a warning note. Heck, it’s freezing outside ! If I am not shooting, I generally stay indoors with my family. But I cleaned it out and started opening the cards one by one. I came across a special one from Cam & Jamie:
Cam is good friends of one of the girls I went to University with. I never met her and Jamie until they came down from London to ‘try me out’ for an engagement session. We played phone tag for a while, but we did connect via email. From our emails, I knew we would totally get along. I had an awesome time with them doing a fall session in High Park and I thank them for coming down to Toronto for the day. I never thought it would go beyond the engagement session. I figured that they would just hire someone locally as it would make sense financially. But once they got a taste of the JW experience, they were hooked ! They deserve the best for their special day…and now they have the best !
If you two are reading this, don’t thank me for doing your wedding. I thank YOU two for inviting me to celebrate with you and your loved ones and letting me bring my camera
. I am very honored. Can’t wait to see you two in London soon ! Thanks for the card and have a safe and happy holiday season.
