What a wild weekend it was in London ! Talk about unpredictable weather ! But that didn’t stop Cam and Jamie from tying the knot. It was a beautiful day regardless and the timing of the rain couldn’t have been better. It didn’t rain at all during the ceremony, but it sure did come down hard at times. At some points, it felt like a tornado was heading our way, but when it stopped, we had the most flattering lighting for photos.
Cam and Jamie’s wedding really reminded me of what a wedding should be. My friend once told me this: “The real act of marriage takes place in the heart – not in the ballroom or church. It’s a choice you make not just on your wedding day but over and over again. That choice is reflected in the way you treat your husband/wife/partner.” These two should be the poster kids for this quote…
I remember talking Cam when she arrived and she told me, “Oh, I so want to see him…” knowing that he was just a few steps away. You can tell she was really anxious to see Jamie. Earlier in the day, I asked Jamie how he was feeling and he told me, “I can’t wait to get married..” None of this, “I’m so nervous…” or anything like that. There was not a doubt in his mind that he was ready to commit himself to Cam.
The wedding took place in the backyard of Jamie’s parents home in London. The catering was taken care of by Jamie’s brother and his crew. It really was a family affair.
Here are some of my favorites from the day:

This was probably the most intense moment of the wedding. When we got to the part of the vows that states “…until death parts us…”, Jamie looked at Cam and instead said, “…forever…” Wow, the way he said it had so much passion and I will always remember this moment when I see this photo.

I want to thank everyone for being themselves and allowing us to do what we love doing…capturing all beautiful and real moments.
