Congratulations to Julie and James, who tied the knot this past Saturday !
We had a beautiful day ! It actually felt like summer in Toronto for a change ! It was hot and humid, which didn’t really help with our garbage situation that we were having in the city. But the heat and humidity did help with Caribana weekend, which I heard was amazing this year !
I met Julie and James not too long ago. Both of them have families here, but work has brought them to Montreal, where they currently reside. As you can imagine, getting together was a little bit of a challenge. Everytime they came back to Toronto, they had to cram as much wedding-related tasks as possible. At the same time, we were also trying to get together for their engagement session which finally happened…5 days before their wedding !!! Talk about a tight schedule !
The day started off with some crazy games for James and his groomsmen. I’ll have to say that the groomsmen really took the blunt of the punishment in this wedding. Actually, for some, it didn’t even feel like punishment LOL I won’t name names, but someone was enjoying it a little too much haha (Don’t kill me when you see these on Facebook!)

Can anyone guess what is going on here ?![]()

The ceremony took place at Young Nak English Ministry. James was so eager to see Julie walk down the isle. It has been a long time coming…and now it was time to make it all official…

After the ceremony and family photos, we headed downtown and made a stop at U of T for some relaxed portraits…

…and sneaking into one of James’ favorite classrooms…where, I’m sure, he had many naps in over the years.

The reception was held at the amazing Arcadian Court, where I was greeted by the beautiful ladies of Let’s Party Consultants, Stacy and Marcy sans Leena, who showed up later in the evening to say HI to everyone. It was beautifully set up with all the centerpieces, give-aways, etc..made from the blood and sweat of Julie and James, themselves. What a team effort. The place looked beautiful !

I found out A LOT more about them on Saturday…and I’ll just have to say that looks are definitely deceiving
You two truly are a wonderful pair and it’s no wonder your family and friends love you two so much.
Congratulations again to you both ! Thank you for having Eugene, Francis and I document your beautiful day. What you saw in my surprise slideshow for everyone was just a taste
I can’t wait to show you the rest of moments we captured for you !

I wish you lots of love and laughter in your future together. I hope to see you in a few weeks when I’m in Montreal for a few days !
