L+K get hitched – 11.24.2007 Denarau Island, Fiji

Congratulations to L+K on their amazing wedding today ! I could have not asked for better weather than today, especially after 2 straight days of thundershowers here in FIJI. So, my streak for rain-less Saturday weddings is alive:)But it was a scorcher today. We are talking 40+ degrees !

Every wedding I document is unique and this was no exception. L decided to forgo the traditional white wedding gown for a one-of-a-kind Thien Le design. Thien is a good friend of hers and custom tailored the entire wedding party, including the ring boy. I had the privilege to shoot his women’s golf line at last months L’Oreal Fashion Week – great stuff !

Anyways, just finished partying it up with everyone and I am just wiped ! I love beach receptions…the only downfall is that I get eaten alive by the mosquito’s and ants !

Hey CT, thanks for your comments. Destination Weddings are completely tailored, just like every wedding that I take on. It really comes down to what the couple’s needs are. But when I book destination weddings, I have to consider the time away from the studio and also the business I have to pass up while I am gone.

Have we met ?
