I just got back from a looooooong consultation with J+M…and awesome couple, who found me through someone I don’t even know
These are the consultations that I love…We literally talked for 2 hours about everything…the wedding…work…the parents…even trading stocks lol We totally clicked and it reminds me of why I love doing what I do…I meet amazing people from all walks of life and to be considered to document one of the most important days of their lives is truly an honor.
I was the first photographer they met…and I rarely like to book couples if I am the only one they have met because most of them don’t know what they want. It totally helps when you do your due diligence beforehand and when it comes to the consultation, it’s all about connecting. I’d say about 20% of our consultation was wedding related…the majority of it was getting to know each other a little better. That’s what it’s all about.
Now I have to break the bad news to the other couple who was still ‘thinking about it’.
So, check back in about 14 months, because I’m going to have some wicked images from their party at one of the finest venues in Toronto !
