*** The Big Give 2009: Winning Submission (Part 3-He Said…)

As we continue with this amazing story, here is Part 3 of The Big Give installment – Matt’s nice note that he wanted to share with everyone…we’ll call this post HE SAID !

~ HE SAID | Better late than never… ~

I would like to give everyone a brief history on Holly me, my dog and our story.

I didn’t like Holly at first, as a Massage Therapist I’m pretty punctual with being on time and from a small country town some would describe me as a little rough around the edges.  Holly showed up late for her first appointment on a Saturday afternoon with big hair and an even bigger white trenchcoat, my beautiful furry man of a dog (golden retriever) jumped up and knocked her down on the back deck as he proceeded to lick her almost to death (thankfully not).

From there (after I fired her as a client, I had a little crush) she became known as the dog walker to my family, friends and clients.  Over the next year Holly and I developed a strong foundation of trust, communication and respect but I still hadn’t fully committed to her in my heart.

Two years later I made the decision to ask Holly to be my wife.

The point on this letter is to thank Joee for this amazing opportunity to capture the moments on a day that will never be repeated, to capture tears of joy, passion and excitement that we can share with our children and family for many years to come.

For those who are wondering why Joee chose Holly Roberta’s entry for this amazing gift, I would like you to sit back, close your eyes and imagine a beautiful fairy with milk like colour skin and the dreamiest blue eyes you had ever seen and layer on top of that a human being that possesses true qualites of loyalty, compassion, passion and love for humanity beyond most peoples capabilities, that is my future wife.

For me, our wedding day is about Holly, I had my glory day when I proposed to her, when I took off all my clothes got on my knees and asked her if she would take me to be her husband.

Holly understands that the measure of a man is not his bank account or possessions, the measure of a man is to know that she doesn’t need to worry in life and if she does, she knows I’m one step behind her.

For all the other vendors who have taken on this completely incredible give,  I assure you, you will never work with a more appreciative, honest and caring individual.

We hope all of you can attend the ceremony and take in a truly heart warming and tear jerking experience.

I promise you that you have never seen a man so proud, crying more than the bride on their wedding day.

Thank you Joee and all the other vendors who have made this day so special for us already.

Matt

Thanks Matt for the nice email and sharing your thoughts of your soon-to-be beautiful wife:)

Up next…Naked Matt in Part 4-The Proposal and Part 5-Introduction to the Vendors.
