When I first started to think about doing this Big Give, I just wanted to do something nice for a very deserving couple. I felt that I had a lot to share with the world…my talent, my passion, but especially my love for people. I am so blessed to have this life God has given me. And I knew there were others in the industry that felt the same way…
Over the last month, my Big Give initiative has exploded into a Monster Give as some very dear friends of mine in the industry have teamed up with me. It’s easy to say that the whole thought of ‘giving’ became contagious. I shared my idea with them and gave them a little information about my winning couple. I just thought it would be such a wonderful thing if they could be part of Holly and Matt’s special day and give them the dream wedding that they could not afford. One by one, my friends replied back with great news to share with me — that they would love to contribute to Holly and Matt’s special wedding with a Big Give of their own ! WOW !
What an amazing story this is all becoming for Holly and Matt. As each one my friends contacted Holly and Matt, I practically received an instant email from Holly to thank me for what I have done…or as she puts it, what I have UNLEASHED !
Here are some of my favorite comments from Holly and Matt’s emails…

“Thank you so much, again, Joee for passing on the torch to all the rest of your friends. Really this is just growing day by day and I just can’t imagine what I ever could have done in a former life that was so good, for this to all be happening.
“I just wanted to let you know that I hadn’t even let myself daydream about having such a beautiful cake like that at the wedding because I just never thought it would happen.”
“OMG. another dream come true. one after another…. once again, just in case i haven’t said it already this hour, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“You are the awesomest magical wedding genie ever!!!”
One comment that really stuck with me was this: “…as soon as it sunk in, the first thing I though about was the free time I was going to have and that I want to call my Mom and book a day together, just her and I. This is something that you could never, ever, put a price tag on.” This was something I was hoping to achieve…for Holly to spend as much time as possible with her Mom and not worry about the craziness of wedding planning. Thank you Cindy for inheriting this responsibility.
