Well, this year didn’t start off on a good note, that’s for sure…
We counted down New Years, like most parents with young infants, pretty early…just in time for bedtime for the boys, so we rang in the new year around 8PM. Hugs and kisses all around.
6 hours later, Ethan wakes up crying and was burning up. He had a pretty high fever (103 !) so I took him to him into the ER to get checked out. A few hours later the Dr. suspects he has strep throat and has been on antibiotics for the last week. Thank God he is back to his cute, old self.
And, of course, being in very close quarters, Jeanette, Brandon and I all got sick too ! And when the entire family is sick, it is nearly impossible to take care of each other….but we’re getting by and on the road to recovery.
So that’s what I’ve been up to the last few weeks…I’m still laying in bed this morning and hoping to catch some more rest and get back up to speed because I have a lot of exciting stuff to work on to kick off my new year…
Anyways, I wanted to wish you and your families a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2009 ! Especially a healthy one…
