We went to Sassafraz tonight for some pre-game food. It’s been a while since I’ve been there and I think the fire definitely did the restaurant good…in terms of aesthetics. This place looks just absolutely amazing now. Very contemporary and similar to some of the restaurants we went to in LA a few months ago.


Ethan was a hit yesterday (as usual)…met some really nice folks who wanted pick him up and the wait staff loved him. We dressed him up a little and put a tweed blazer with cool elbow patches on him. Here’s a pic of Jeanette and Ethan.


I had the seared cod, which just melted in my mouth. My cousin had the Winter greens with lavender vinaigrette and edible flower to start:


..which, in his words, “..tasted like a fresh bouquet of flowers…”
It was a good time…about 10 of us and a few kids. And who said Sassafraz was not family/child friendly ?
