So, here is the follow up to my earlier post about the new vehicle we purchased.
It has been a long time waiting, but we finally added another car to the stable. And here it is !!!!! The suspense is now over.

Now, Ethan and Daddy have matching Porsche Boxsters
Congratulations son on your first birthday and first of many (exotic) cars
Mommy and Daddy are going to spoil you rotten ! (and so are all your aunties and uncles too). For those who are interested, you can buy one here. And if you were wondering, that is an authentic Ricky Bobby (Talladega Nights) outfit I found on eBay.
Here is a picture of his cake. This was absolutely amazing ! It was created by my cake lady, Jenny, who I refer to all my brides. There is absolutely nothing she can’t do. Her cakes are amazing. Please contact her for your special occasion and tell her I sent you. I can’t buy regular cakes after tasting the cake she made for my wedding. It’s not the same anymore. She is just amazing.

The unveiling was done on Sunday at Ethan’s 1 year birthday bash ! It was absolutely insane and we had about 75 of his closest family and friends to share his big day. It was truly special and we are so thankful for the love that is showered on this kid every single day of his life. He deserves nothing but the best in life. I have to publicly thank my wife, Jeanette, for setting this up. She did such an awesome job planning this event and it would not have been possible without her vision. For that, I will buy her the SUV that she wants…anything to get away from that van idea that has been circling in this house. haha
Today is his actual birthday. 1 year ago today, we were blessed with his arrival. So many tears and laughs were documented throughout the last 365 days. As of the last count, I have amassed over 21,000 images of him and am considering submitting this for the record books ! haha We put on a slideshow on Sunday which was pretty much a review of his last year and it was such a great trip down memory lane. If it wasn’t for the photographs, we would have a hard time looking back at certain events that happened and reliving those moments.
But this is what I do….I document life. Not only am I a photographer, but I also consider myself a historian. I am capturing moments for my couples & families for them and their future generations. When I was watching the news over the summer on the fires in California, the reporters were interviewing the residents about their tragic loss. The first thing most of them said was that they wished there were able to go back into the house to get their family photos. I think there is something to be said about that kind of reaction. You can put a price on your car…your TVs…your home. Those are material things. But when it comes down to your photos, they are PRICELESS.
Book your session today ! (shameless plug)
