For the record, Fuscia Designs is not a flower shop !
Gorgeous owners, Tamara and Kevin are luxury event floral designers and create the most amazing pieces you have ever seen. Their work has been featured in many publications like Wedluxe Magazine and StyleMePretty, to name a few.
I first met them back in 2008 at a gorgeous wedding at Miller Lash House. It was very brief as I arrived just as they were finishing up, as it is with most weddings. I adore these two and they always give me tons of eye candy to look at when I show up at the venues of our weddings.
They have an amazing talent to share and have the most amazing chemistry together. They are so lucky to be able to spend almost every moment together sharing the same passion and love for designing events all around the city. But most importantly, they are amazing people…caring, sensitive, thoughtful…and generous (they provided the entire decor and arrangements for the 2009 Big Give !).
I have to make a note that, although Tamara may be the face of Fuscia Designs (she is hands down the most pretty of the two hehe), Kevin does a crazy amount of work behind the scenes and is also a huge contributor to the vision and conception of their events. I have to make people aware of this because I know he doesn’t get as much credit from his clients as he should. And don’t call him a florist !
Recently, we spent some time together photographing some new lifestyle/branding images for their website. We headed to the Yorkville area for some relaxed portraits. We had a blast !
I can’t say enough good things about Tamara and Kevin. They are just a super fun duo and will make your wedding experience one you will never forget. We have quite a few events together in the future. This Friday, we have an exquisite wedding at the RCYC under the guidance of rockstar event planner, and fellow Black Lister, Cindy Johnson of Platinum Events Group. It is going to be unbelievable !
