This is going to be the first of many introductions to wedding professionals that I have personally worked with that have made, what some of you already know as, my Black List. These are my very own personal recommendations of suppliers that I highly trust to be part of your wedding team.
Meet the ladies of Platinum Events Group, one of Canada’s premier Wedding and Event planners. Owner and Lead Stylist, Cindy Johnson, has been planning some of the most extravagant weddings and events all over the world and providing all her couples (and suppliers) a stress-free and enjoyable experience through the whole wedding planning process.
I’ve known Cindy for almost my entire professional wedding career. I first met her at Amanda and John’s wedding. She was so amazing to work with and took care of everyone…including Team JW. To this day, Amanda and John’s wedding remains one of my all-time favorite weddings, not only because they are an amazing couple, but also because I remembered how well executed that wedding was. Cindy is born to be in this industry.
We were very fortunate to have exclusive use of the Ritz-Carlton Toronto sales office which showcases one of their $3,000,000 condo layouts. All I can say was that I really enjoyed living the high life for about 2 hours. The bathroom was to die for ! haha
The Ritz Carlton is all about luxury and the client experience . It was a perfect spot to photograph Platinum Events Group, a company that shares the same values as the world-renowned Ritz-Carlton.

I can’t say enough great things about Cindy and her team. They are so fantastic to be around and give off this infectious, positive vibe that is missing in so many wedding professionals these days. I’ve worked with them on many occasions over the last 6 years and we have some really exciting weddings together in the very near future.
On a personal note, I just want Cindy to know how proud I am to see how successful she has become in such a short period of time. It’s awesome to be part of this journey to stardom (hehe). You are still as real as the first time I met you and I love that ! The team wishes you all the successes that you and your girls deserve.
